Each programme can have one general programme course, a course for the entire Bachelor, Master or Minor. Below you can find the convention for the naming and coding of these courses.
Request a Programme course
Prerequisites:
- Programme Type: e.g. Bachelor/Master/Minor
- Programme name (as presented in Prospectus)
- Optional: If you want to fill the course with content, we need the course code of the source as well
In case you need a programme course for one of your faculty's programmes you can request a course creation. Please follow the steps below:
- Fill in format below
- Save as excel/csv
- Send via the Helpdesk Portal
- You'll receive an email as soon as your request has been processed.
Course conventions Programme courses
Course name convention
The convention for the course name [Programme Type][space][Programme name]
e.g. Bachelor Life Science and Technology
- Programme Type - See below an overview
- Programme Name - as presented in the Prospectus
- NB in the language of the programme. So either NL/EN.
Course code convention
The convention for the course code = [faculty number]_[programme indication]_[programme abbrevation]_OM_[start year]_[start month]
e.g. 4_B_LST_OM_2019_09
- Faculty number - See below an overview
- Programme indication - See below an overview
- Programme abbrevation: the first letters of the capitalised words in the programme name
- e.g. Life Science and Technology becomes LST
- OM - indication for "opleidings module"
- Start year - year that the course will start
- Start month - month that the course will start
